Seams for a Cause is a sewing ministry that is open to all sewers regardless of skill level. We also have some non-sewing tasks that can be done! We sew for local and national missions. At times, we are approached to make something specific, such as medical gowns and masks and costumes for our children’s ministry.
We meet the second Saturday of the month from 11:00 - 4:00. We usually have a light lunch around 12:30. We love to have anyone join us any hours they are available - we don't want anyone to feel if they can't make it the whole day that they aren't needed. We need workers!
Most of the projects we have done were our own ideas, and used as donations for Operation Christmas Child, a local pregnancy center, and Open Door Mission. We have sewn baby quilts, scarves, hats, little girl dresses, car play mats, burp cloths, receiving blankets, medical gowns, and face masks.
